GPU and CPU Combo Suggestion

Go to solution Solved by podkall,

yes,

6800 XT should be roughly similar to 7800 XT

the budget does fit 7800 XT, without taxes,

at the same time, the budget fits 2TB SSD with 6800 XT.

I dont think you need that much cpu power. Or 7000 series. I think you can get away with am4 5800x3d with better gpu.

5800x3D not worth, you can get same gaming performance from 7600 compared to 5800x3D

Budget (including currency): (USD) $1,330>

Country: United States

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Valorant, CS2, Minecraft, recording videos, schoolwork, very light 3D modelling.

I saw some GPU performance comparison videos, and Gamers Nexus results showed that the 6800 xt was about 5-10% better than the 7800 xt. I don't have the budget for the 7800xt AND the 7800x3d, so I was wondering if a 6800xt + 7800x3d Combo was better than a 7800xt + 7700x combo. (Only new parts)
