Mouse does not track on deskpad?

[IBM_THINKPAD_R51]

I just got the LTT deskpad, but my mouse does not track on it

I have two mice
the 
Classic Intellimouse
and the 
Classic Intellimouse Pro

the Pro tracks on it but the regular one doesnt

I have both connected to my computer all the time, the reason is because the Pro which is better for gaming has a fucked scrollwheel which i use a lot, so i use the regular Intellimouse for when im not gaming
I have a video attached

any idea why this is?

Did you try changing the lift off distance?

That is an option for the Pro in the software but not the regular

Well then it could be the lit off distance, my only guess is to look for 3rd party software to try and change it
