I don't know if this is software (windows 11) related or hardware. Motherboard or PSU. I checked ram by using the memtest86 and one by one then again with both and passed each time. I say motherboard or PSU due to my PSU about to turn 8 years old (EVGA G3 1000w) motherboard pretty new (asrock x670E steel legend) but open box but not used had the plastic on it, packages of NVMe screws, and all other accessories unopened in it as well.

I get no BSODs just lose display and then motherboard restarts itself. In bios I had expo on turned it off cause suddenly experiencing this for about a month now.. Updated bios still experience the random restarts this time with everything at stock.

Things I haven't done yet is clear CMOS. If it is windows related I'll reinstall. I'm on an open loop so rather do software. I'm not sure what to look at in event viewer for more information. If someone could let know if they need that.

I appreciate any and all help. As you can imagine pretty annoying.

Can you send screenshot of Event Viewer right after one of this reboots? Also is your bios up to date?

If just did before writing this post it's been on for a couple hours for now. Yes bios is on 2.10 the 3.01 is for 9000 CPU support so didn't think I needed that as the only change. Once I wake from sleep I can get a new one cause I know it'll do the same thing. Does every time.

This is newest Event Viewer

I can’t read that…. Never mind I looked it up, try this:

go to the registry

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WINEVT\Channels\Microsoft-Windows-DeviceSetupManager/Admin

"Enabled"=dword:00000000

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Device Metadata

This might mean you need to manually install drivers for new hardware though.

QVL don't mean much, on AM5 it frequently happens that RAM works but isn't stable at its rated EXPO speed

Happened to me, I have to run my 6000MT RAM at 5600 to avoid weird bugs/behavior in certain apps, and be able to use MCR without crash

Reduce RAM speed to 5600 and test if you still have crashes

Your error log show unrelated and harmless errors, for crashes look for Critical Errors

I'm need even running expo anymore. 4800 stock. Yesterday I was told to do a test with 3 apps. HWINFO for about 3-5 minutes so temperatures and such stabilize then run PRIME95 and furmark for about 10-15 minutes and give them the CSV file from HWINFO. I can post it here to if you want to have a look at it. I haven't heard back yet. I have no idea how to read it correctly. As for the error log there was critical but I think kernal something or other. I'm typing on my phone this right now as my pc will not stay alive long enough to check.

I'm not sure if it'll show anything. I posted this on a discord PC tech support server and was told do as I said above. I don't know how reliable it is compared to LTT.

Before replacing the PSU, reseat the EPS and ATX connectors a couple of times.

Restarting while writing a reply. Anyway I tried that originally. Also I even thought my zip ties were to tight so redid those as well. Bought a cable that goes from PSU to GPU (4080) and no change. Only thing I can think of related to power (like event viewer says) would be PSU. It is the only thing not new in system after all now hitting 8 years old now. Must've just sudden went bad now. Ain't nothing to buy a new PSU to just see for certainty. Just even afraid to keep booting if that is the culprit.

Yeah would definitely buy a new PSU. Before that though is it hooked up directly to the wall or a UPS?

I ordered one today. Since I'm on a dual chamber might as well try the lian li Edge. Seems like it'll much easier to cable manage than my last one. No black and white cables but other than just white sleeved should be fine. Thank you for confirming PSU issue. I do appreciate it. Was hoping just that cause draining my system would've been worse.
