I don't know what the issue is, but I'm running a Ryzen 7 7800x3d and RTX 4070, win 11 installed on a 2TB NVMe m.2 7000 MBps and my boot time is about 32 seconds

On my previous  system, intel i7 8700k and rtx 2070 with 500 gb m.2 ssd i had like 10 seconds or 8 seocnds boot time.

I updated my bios to the newest one, updated the chipset to newest one too, still the same

Oh no! Your PC is so slow. That is an unacceptable boot time for a pc from 1995 and yours is new. Oh the misery, the painful 30 second boot time is too long away from family and friends when you have to sit there and wait. Why have you been cursed with having your precious time stolen from you every time you turn on the PC? Why?

It's just a joke. Anyway,

Have you tried going into the bios and enabling fast boot?

Check to see if you have the fast boot setting toggled on, do have a lot of apps set to start up? check to see if there are any GPU driver updates available. What is your boot order settings?

Have you tried turning it off and on again? Maybe Restart it?

boot priority, is your PC booting off of your ssd instead of another storage device?

Have you tried turning it off and on again? Maybe Restart it?

i would imagine it is only booting off of my ssd, since thats where i installed windows, and all my other drivers are empty

DDR5 is kinda just like that, and adding in windows 11 being generally slow, that’s not too crazy of a boot time at all.

So you are saying this is normal? I just dont get why when i had a worse ssd, cpu and gpu im booting in 10 seconds and now with all these upgrades, the booting is slower? lol
