How hard would it be to move the PSU to the bottom, you could get a awesome CPU & it would stay cool.

The case has been around for over a decade, its been modded in every single way imaginable. Why would you be looking at an SG05 in 2024 in the first place? There are SO many better ITX cases today.

Ryzen 7 7800x3D -  Asus RTX4090 TUF OC- Asrock X670E Taichi - 32GB DDR5-6000CL30 - SuperFlower 1000W - Fractal Torrent - Assassin IV - 42" LG C2 - Windows 11 Pro

I believe in you recent topic, I suggested a front intake 120mm radiator. I'll bet that would be way more convenient than modifying the entire case layout, and delivery a similar large improvement to CPU thermals.

I made a similar build in an SG13, with a thick Corsair radiator and a Ryzen 9 3900X. It worked super well. Also paired with a quadro for graphic design.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I need?

Don't ask him why. @tkitch figured out the hard way.

I ordered a new case, just saying that may be better for cooling.
