So i have a 1070 for Everything, and a 1660 Super as a second GPU that I got cheap just for running 2 extra monitors. but I'm noticing right now that Rendering a video is running on the 1660 and not the 1070. in this case this is actually good, because I can play a game with the 1070 while that renders on the other gpu, but sometimes I don't want the lower performance GPU. is there any way to easily control what does what without having to manually pick a GPU for each program, or should I just manually pick for the program any time I see a program using the wrong GPU?

You can do it through nvidia control panel program settings by choosing the app you want and setting the "preferred graphics processor" setting to your preferred gpu
