Hello again, Internet. I am attempting to find a mobile device manager that supports all operating systems. I currently am using MacOS, Windows, and Ubuntu, and cannot find an MDM that supports all operating systems for free I am attempting to search for self-hosted solutions but many don't with my current server setup. Does anyone have any suggestions?

you're not gonna find anything worth using that's free. it's the curse of enterprise software; the people making it know that it is valuable to businesses, so it is generally priced as such.

having that said, what is your goal here? is it for security reasons, is it just about application management?

Some MDMs have free tiers, but they'll generally be limited in the number of devices they allow you to enroll.

Very few will allow you to self-host and Linux support is rather uncommon, since it doesn't come with built in support for management like Android, iOS and Windows

Done some searching on this topic but never implemented anything due to it was way overkill for my needs, have used it in a work setting and they had a whole team of about 30 people dedicated to configuring 4000 machines, it's very time intensive task. For my home use i just use netboot.xyz and boot into clonezilla to make a copy of the complete hard drive and save or restore to or from a network share.

Sorry I can't offer much help, but in my research most if not all of these with the features you'd want are paywalled and aren't cheap normally an annual subscription of thousands of dollars.

@manikyath I am doing this for application management and simplification purposes. I am running a Jellyfin/Minecraft server over a VPN for security and I don't want to have to constantly message people to ask them to update the VPN software (the software can tell when you need to update) I would much rather force push the update and forget about it for both the VPN and Jellyfin.
