No no, im gonna be buying a new pc case and 2x4gb more, 2060S (new) for 100e, i just wanted to know if the setup is good

are you buying anything else or no?

2060s for 100€ seems like a damn good deal, only thing that might beat it would be a 5700xt but those are usually abit more than it (120-150€) with performance slightly above a 1080

i assume you want to add 2 more sticks for 24gb total? send a pic of the label and the text on the black ics, if not bare pcb send pic in thaiphoon burner to atleast identify the ic manufacturer, to give an idea on capabilities 4gbit samsungs are trash and top out at 2400 ish whilst all hynix 4gbit will do >3000

specific model? send pic of the wattage table aswell to roughly determine quality

old but still pretty decent assuming you arent playing the latest games, what mobo?

think you can downgrade the microcode and turbo unlock (run all cores at max turbo) similar to the xeons, dunno if the steps are the same or not im simply going to have to obtain some haswell stuff and do some of my own testing probably on an asus/asrock board as the bios chips are removable and bricking is not a concern

and if the board is a z87/97 you can run the bclk up to do a slight oc, 105 is doable on all chips but your chip may do abit higher and paired with a turbo unlock thatd mean 4.2ghz allcore if you do 105 bclk, you can also do ram oc but i wouldnt expect >2400 on 4 sticks due to boardlimit though imc is capable of well over 3000

You already have this and are using it?

What do you want to know exactly?  Our opinion of it?

Are you looking to upgrade it?  If so, there is a template form for that.

Without knowing what you use the system for there is no way to gauge if the "build is fine"!

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

For what purpose?

Gaming?

A 4790 and 2060 Super can play almost anything, but it is true that it struggles a bit with some newer games (mainly on the 1% lows). You can see a video on the subject here:

Don't buy a 2060s

Buy a B450 motherboard and a Ryzen 2600 or Ryzen 3600 for that 100e , the RX580 will still last you a long time on 1366x768 resolution, but that cpu will hold you back.

Sell your 4790 + mobo + ram for and then put some more money and buy a 21-24" 1080p monitor.  Your RX 580 will last you maybe a couple more years.

Everything else can still be used.
