Dell Inspiron graphics upgrade

I'm looking to get a new Dell Inspiron Desktop - 14th Gen Intel Core i7-14700 - with 32 GB RAM and an integrated graphics card. I just want to improve the GPU - probably non-powered because I read that the power supply it comes with is 180 Watts. My kids play Minecraft and I want to get back into Age of Empires - so, nothing taxing or resource intensive. Can anyone recommend a simple GPU for this setup?

You dont need to do anything to that computer to be able to play those games smoothly. iGPU can handle them just fine.

Also what inspiron? Depending on that you could maybe do a minor upgrade or well just toss everything but the cpu, ram and storage and just build a pc around since all else is kinda worthless in that pc.

I don't get a choice if I buy it pre-built by Costco.

An i7-14700 is able to consume 180w on it's own! But probably not in a trashy powerlimit locked OEM system like a Dell.

Those Dells also come with a RTX 3050 or 4060. Isn't that an option?

single slot single fan 4060, low power consumption but you'd still need a new power supply.

If you can find the Dell part numbers, you can get the upgraded power supply for that model.

 

Neither of the games you listed require dedicated graphics. The integrated graphics will run them just fine.
