Will SLI ready card work alone?

Go to solution Solved by iamthecpu,

yes they are design to work alone and together

This summer I am planning on building a computer that will hold 2 MSI GeForce GTX 780 3GB TWIN FROZR's they are SLI ready as well. If I buy one to start off will it work by itself fine and later when I get the 2nd one will they both work fine in SLI formation? Thank you for any help
