motherboard searching

Okay so when I do my new build I wanna do it right and the color scheme is going to mainly black and a touch of red and the Asus Crosshair Forrmula V looks amazing and I thought about just dealing with the cost and getting it but i've come to the conclusion thati simply can't afford it and I was looking at the Asrock 990FX killert but I can't decide if the red pci-e slots look decent or are just tacky also if you think they are tacky like me I'd like some black/red am3+ motherboard suggestions. thanks in advance

Killer, sick of hearing ASUS, never had a single product from them that worked, i don't get the hype.

Also, Asus. Asus. Asus :P Unlike Mr. @Recon-UK I've never had anything but good products. I have a Sabertooth board right now, a Z97 WS on the way, I have ASUS Monitors, ASUS Gaming Laptop... Never any issues on any of them.

 

Let me search for some boards for you.

i've honestly been questioning the black red color scheme but I don't know whhat else i would like.

32gbs of ram dual channel preferably 2000ish mhz decent audio crossfire support am3+ the blacker the better 2 usb 3.0's and nothing that couldnt be supported by 8 pin connector

I don't think so I hope no t personally i love it

I know that AMD isn't planning on running with it much more.

my mate has an asrock fatil1ty 990fx board ans he says it's amazing.

no new socket releases coming in the next month or two is there? cause if not i'm going to kind of have to just go with am3+

The new FX series is supposed to come in 2016... So you look safe.

plain black would be good as long as there's no ugly silver or green sticking out
