Advice on a new build

Budget (including currency): 3500 euros

Country: France

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: League of legends, for honor many other games ..

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Hi i made a build on this site and i dont really know if it's optimal or not (i also dont understand the b note) . Do i need a fan controller? or other cables for the power supply ?

Thanks

Are you looking to save money, or did you buy a 32 ounce bottle of lube?

That AIO is utter ridiculous and someone at NZXT should be shot for that price.

All that fans?!

You have 600 in cooling alone, coupled with the hottest CPU known to man.... would you be interested in saving that money or deploying it properly to get:

1.  World's fastest gaming CPU in the World!!!  (yes, I know I used World twice)

2. World's fastest gaming GPU in the World!!!! (again)

Up to you, but definitely have room for improvement unless you truly WANT what you posted.

You could literally have the fastest gaming PC (in the world) with a little shifting.

For example and your tweaking pleasure...

You wont need any other cables with the power supply and if you connect the fans to the motherboard it should have a controller built in. As for the computer, you can save yourself a good bit of money by downgrading the CPU as it will never get anywhere close to its potential when used for gaming. If you do that then you can also downgrade your cooling. Also if you are not married to intel, AMD offers a much better upgrade path.

You want a ATX 3.0 psu for these RTX 40XX cards due to the adapter. The 14900K is not a cpu to be recommended for a gaming build. That cpu runs hot and has issues. Look at the 7800x3D. Review in the link below.

Thanks I was also considering the ryzen 7 7800 X3D so i think i will take it, and I found the AIO just too beautiful visually, but I know it's not the best in terms of performance/price compared to others

Thanks for your answer, I was going for a full white build with the Nzxt AIO because i wanted something with a lot of lights, but i really like the build that u made and i might change my mind so thank you for that 🙂

And is there really a big difference between the 4090 and the 4080 super ?

No, but I wanted to point out that with your budget, you can get the fastest of both CPU and GPU.  If you take mine and replace the 4090 with the 4080 Super, you have almost the same performance with a lot of money saved for flashy lights 🙂

In my opinion it is such a small difference its not worth 100s of dollars but you can do whatever you feel that you want to

You could spend half this and see no difference in the games you listed while still having a good looking system.  Getting hyper specific on the visual stuff will gouge you and won’t be THAT cool to you for very long.  Eventually it just fades into the background no matter how much you spend.  €90 for a 3 pack of fans is just insane.  You also only need 4, as you want more intake than exhaust, and the open top will allow heat out naturally.

The GPU has a white backplate so that’s all you’ll see.

If you din’t like the gelid fans you could do the thermalright ones for the whole thing, or there are some montech ones for like €13 that look similar to the lian li ones.

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.

Whatever fans you feel like adding to that case. Those fish tank cases such as the 011 don't have great airflow to say the least. White case with great airflow would be the Lian Li Lancool 216. Replace the 140mm exhaust fan that's included with this case with the 140mm ARGB fan down below.

If you din’t like the gelid fans you could do the thermalright ones for the whole thing, or there are some montech ones for like €13 that look similar to the lian li ones.

Thanks for your response. The Gelid fans look good and are a third of the price of the ones I initially wanted, so I'll consider getting them. Regarding the graphics card, is it better than a 4080 Super? I've never had an AMD card before, so I'm not sure

It should be almost exactly the same to the Nvidia card but it depends on the game

What the other poster said.  Those gelid fans are decent, and montech also makes one that looks very similar to the lian li ones you initially wanted.  I only chose those gelid ones because they are lit on both sides.

Were you wanting fans with a perimeter light or would lit fan blades suffice?  If so, there are more options as well.

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.

Well, I just liked the Lian Li ones. I don't really have any strict preferences. If I like the way it looks, I'll go for it, so if you have any suggestions, I'm open to that 👌
