PC wont post after power outage

MOHI81

I was playing  a game when there was a power outage at my place, which shut down the PC. Now it wont boot. I have tried the following

•reset cmos battery

•tried booting with only 1 ram stick

both have failed to yield any results

I had a similar problem a few months back which i solved by using the single ram stick method

Boot or POST?

Well the fans work but there is nothing on the screen. Also there is a single argb fan which does spin but there are no rgb lights. It usually works with the light when turned on

I see, hopefully no parts have been damaged. Do you have any spare parts that you can use for testing?

Just a side note - a good UPS would probably avoid this kind of problem.

I edit my posts more often than not

Do you have any lights on the motherboard?

Well I would suggest a new motherboard first, to test the CPU and RAM

You could try it with the absolute cheapest supported board, just to make sure the CPU and RAM work

Only buy if the return policy is generous. If it still does not work I do not want you to lose more money.

Sounds good, hopefully it works and you haven't lost all of your components
