And vigorously deflecting all criticism makes you look like a fanboy. What's your point? The video is a rehash of the previous ones and offers nothing new. It's lazy content produced because tons of other people have made similar content for their niche, not because anything of value gets communicated. If you didn't know Shein until now, nothing will change. And the people who knew about them knew of the criticism towards to company long before LTT made a video about it. Never mind that LMG knowing about their business practices does not justify them buying the hardware there. You can make an informative video about Shein's business practices and their terrible pricing for tech products without also trying to make a wacky build video that also directly funds their business.

It could have been an indirectly informative video on NOT to buy from shein (for pc parts at least) and showed aliexpress alternatives for cheaper. The 'Shein's business practices' would've been better but the views direct the way they go

You yourself said at the start of that comment that people already know about the business practices of Shein and then you suggest LTT does a full (boring) video rehashing that?

You're mischaracterizing my argument. I said that a video focused on those business practices would be better than the video they made, which is, as I said, a rehash of the previous ones in the same mold. I never said that they should've made the alternative video to begin with.

I take issue with what the script has to say about Kodak.
While Kodak did undergo chapter 11 bankruptcy back in 2011; they exited it in 2013 after shedding their debt and several divisions. It's still the same company from before the filing. For the most part they still make film for cameras, and other photography products; most of them for the film industry. The youtube channel SmarterEveryDay has a series of three videos of tours documenting the Kodak film production process. Heck the wiki even states they entered the pharmaceutical industry recently.
Yes.... they license out their name for some cheapo electronics; but those items were also very likely never meant to be sold on the North American continent. Case in point? The x300 Linus is holding in the video is not the one that is officially sold here in the States. Different form factor, different packaging, different pcb. Saying that everything licensed out is poorly made; just isnt always true.
