First time PC builder seeking advice

Budget (including currency): $1350

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: GTA V, Subnautica, Warthunder, and more...

Other details (components):

I've already got a monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

Total Build Cost: $1486.69

Is there anyway of making this cheaper?

dont buy windows and definitely get a 13600kf, since it is a lot better than a 12600kf. A 12600kf would also be fine though. just get a windows key off of a website for like 30 bucks. You can also get some cheaper ram for around 40 if you get black, but its not that big of a difference. Other than that, your build looks fine.

I would go with this build

In total it's AUD1435, excluding the Windows key that the community has shared on the tips, I would divert some of the expenses on better hardware

NOTE:

1. With entry level CPU such as Ryzen 5600G, it has stock cooler, so no need to buy additional cooler, especially if you're in very tight budget

2. You can choose 32GB of RAM for future proofing, but you also still stick to 16GB

3. For storage, you could go for 2TB which cost AUD245, you gain more compared to 1TB on my list below, but I attached 1TB just to minimize cost

4. GPU, RTX 4060 is absolutely no go, if you really want NVIDIA GPU, at least go for 4060 TI. Otherwise, Radeon is a better choice if your only use is and only for gaming (your feedback is appreciated)

5. As for PC case, Deepcool is really great for budget build, because it has 3+1 Fans pre-attached, so you save more compared to the other PC case

Did you think about opting for a B660 motherboard?

Just throwing my suggestion out there. As others have said, you don't need to get a windows key for 200 aud, a 7600xt should be a nice boost from a 4060 and a 1tb ssd. A 13400 seems to run fine on its stock cooler.
