Tekken 8 apparently has less input latency on Linux.

So, I stumbled across this Twitter post and I find the results intriguing. Thoughts?

Well, 'Nix distros put A LOT less overhead than Windows. There's a reason so many servers rock 'Nix, well, aside from the fact that Windows Server version of Win 10 fla costs $850 lmao.

Why is that intriguing?  What are YOUR thoughts on it?

I find it incredibly non-interesting.  So 1 game has less input on Linux?  Why should that be anything other than "cool, I guess"?

Linux has benefits, Windows has benefits.  *shrug*

My thoughts are that it's pretty impressive. I know that on AMD Linux offers more FPS. I never checked about latency though, so I find it pretty interesting and wanted to share.

Servers do not rock windows because of popularity of the LAMP stack back in the 1990s. I mean who doesn't like open sourced, free/cost less server hosting solutions? This continues to the modern day even if LAMP is no longer as popular as it once was. Apache and things like docker all run better on Linux too.

Compilation of certain languages like C on Linux vs Windows lol...

Also for the original post. I wonder if Tekken has true exclusive fullscreen options on windows. I know a lot of games forgo this feature when it makes things lower latency.
