HP LaserJet Pro MFP M426 Shared Folder

Go to solution Solved by Levent,

Do you have working hostname resolve? Also spaces in SMB shares is a little problematic. Make sure this printer supports SMB2 and higher.

I am trying to create a shared folder and connect the above printer to save scans over the network.

It's on a domain and the printer is wireless

The folder is shared on the network and accessible but when I add the network path, Username, and password of the computer that the shared folder is on it gives me an error.

I've tried the syntax just about every way you can imagine and I get the same error

My question is, what am I doing wrong here? does my syntax need to be different? or is there another step I am missing

Even if it supports it, remove the spaces from the share.
