unless you compromise heavily on some components. Which you have done by listing a risky choice of pico psu. A good pico psu costs like twice what that one does, so seeing one that cheap, where did they cut the costs?

could you tell me the dimensions of the build.

with the white SFF case?

there aren't any specs but it looks to be around 550mm tall, 160mm wide and about 300mm long (most likely less)

@ulookuglynoob Something like this barebones, uses the 7735HS and 680M APU which is quite formidable.

Its a barebones, so base $320 when finding storage/RAM.

The 6800U has the same iGPU but not as good of a CPU.

what if i got this case, a 10100f, an a380 or cheaper, and a flex psu?

10100f is not going to cut it in my opinion. A 12100f is barely acceptable for even an A380. I built a 12100f/A380 system in an Asrock Deskmeet to test this and that CPU was pegged at 100% the whole time. I imagine a 10100f would be even worse.

A380 though is a great card, especially the newer versions with no VGA aux power and/or low profile. Very versatile.

i know im kinda getting annoying, but i find a pico psu to be an interesting prospect.

or this:

at $60 just get an a550bn. If you need the smaller form factor get a mini pc, if not then build it yourself slightly bigger but more upgradability

I can't recommend the below more

well, i need this build to be practically invisible and portable. I'm fine with getting the 60 buck pico psu. as long as the psu is smaller and works. and the case would be a bit difficult to transport.

If you need a small pc then get the minisforum pc, it's much smaller than it would be DIY and will definitely be more reliable than the DIY. Either get mine or @Agall's recommendation

OP is just being unreasonable, they either need to expand their budget or compromise with a barebones/mini PC.

Sounds like its time to upgrade and use that 12100f somewhere else.

12600kf's are only ~$155 right now, 12700kf's ~$230.

If you don't need the other build then yes. What's your current system specs? if you have a decent mobo then I'd say upgrade to 13600kf

12100f, b660 aorus master ddr4, 3070, apevia jupiter bronze 600w, riptide 3200mhz ddr4 ram. I gotta upgrade my psu too, since it suks and is barely supporting my PC. if I get a 13600kf, then my psu might do something. So should I just upgrade my psu and get a 12600kf?

12100f and 3070 is pretty imbalanced. I wouldn't doubt if you're only getting 70-80% utilization on that 3070 in most games.

Drop in CPU upgrade is great for LGA 1700, but you'd have to gives us some specs to see if its worth it past a 12600kf. If you've got a really low budget LGA 1700 motherboard and kit of RAM, it might not even be worth a drop in 12600kf.

There's a lot of value to upgrading your current stuff and using those older parts for a spare build.
