Dell Poweredge R420 OS

Hello, so I have been having issues installing Windows server 2022 and Proxmox. I have both tried forums for both os's and I cant find a fix, if I install either OS after running the installer I get a "Boot Device Unavailable" and in the BIOS in the boot options Proxmox is greyed out and I was reading that you need to flash the raid card "H310 Mini" to IT Mode. witch I did and still did not then then I restored to install windows with no luck. I have no idea what to do as I cant install any OS.. Is this an issue with me, raid card, or something to do with bios setup/hardware? thanks

What is your disk setup?

What disks did the installer show? DId you install in UEFI or legacy mode?

Did you setup any raid arrays?

Did you see the Proxmox option in the boot menu of the system? Can you try using that option?

Can you show a pic of where it says proxmox is unavailabe?

What disks did you have? Did they all show up in the installer?

You may have to set the bootable drive in the raid controller menu.
