Duel GPU for stream

I currently have

CPU

Intel Core 17-12700K

CPU Cooler

thermalright Frozen Notte ARGB

Motherboard

MSI B760 GAMING

Ram

G.Skill Flare X5 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36

GPU

XFX Speedster SWFT 319 Radeon RX 6800 16 GB

Powersupply

be quiet! Pure Power 12 M 750 W 80+ Gold

My gpu is not good for streaming and this is something I want to get into. I was wondering if I add an Intel arc A380 and make that my streaming GPU. What complication will this cause and will this work in my favor or a lost cause?

I don't know about combining intel with AMD drivers because Intel drivers are still quite new ( not to throw shade at the Intel team that've been progressing at a rapid pace) but I do know that AMD and Nvidia GPUs work well together so you could go with something like a second hand 3050 and get good results.

Ada is worse than Ampere which is worse than Fermi, change my mind.

    AMD Ryzen 9 5950x

Yeah that is very true with intel. I was hoping it stay under $100 because if I go higher in price I’ll just sell my GPU and get a better Nvidia GPU that best for streaming. But the GPU I have now is great for price to performance.

If you really want a streaming GPU, just use Quicksync on the iGPU. It has a similar encoder for H.264 and is already in your system.

Whats not good about it? The rx6800 streams just fine.

If you want quicksync you have the igpu already.

Do keep in mind 2 guys adds overhead.

I completely forgot about quicksync. Was just used to it being obsolete for so long. When it comes to streaming on the GPU I hear very negative reviews and a drop in performance due to that generation not really being updated with AMDs encoder like the newer AMD GPUs. I could be completely wrong. I’ve watching so many video and been on so many forms about this it’s starting to overload my brain.

Its 1-3% perf drop its fine really.

First try streaming before you commit money to it.
