Strange color banding across the screen

Hello. I've had this laptop for about 3 years now. There's this strange color banding across the bottom of the screen. I'm not sure if it's a LCD issue or a graphics issue. It stays like that even across different windows and games, so I think it's a lcd issue. Is it burn-in and is there a way to fix it without replacing the screen?

That seems like a loose LCD cable inside the screen. Any chance you could take the screen apart and reseat all its connections?
