modded sound card drivers

before someone pulls a shotgun on my face for having one, it was a gift before LTT forum existed, so yeah

 

anyways, i got a creative SB recon3D (i know, i know but it was doing its job) recently i started getting problems with some games, where it sound loops for 3-4 seconds between menus, already made some searches and it seems creative drivers are shit for some games so is not a game problem, so was thinking if modded drivers could fix my issues i know there's one for asus sound cards that improves compatibility a lot, so maybe there a few for creative stuff, so does anyone here know about one?
