best mic/headphone control knob and booster/amp for logitech z313

NUKEMDUKEM

NOTE: The logitech z313 volume control on the control pod does not control the headphone volume.

in other words the headphone jack on the z313 its a simple pass through and its like plugging my headphones directly into my motherboards headphone jack where the volume doesnt get loud and i can only control volume with the windows volume slider lol.

What would be my best options to boost the headphone volume and have physical control knob for my headphones and maybe boost my microphone volume in the process while im using this speaker set?

If you have the money, the Schiit Fulla is a great device. It's always the first product I think of when someone asks about an audio device with a microphone input.

1Mii has an option too

You could try your luck with other unknown external soundcards like this

To integrate with your system, you would need to use the Windows volume settings to switch between speaker output and headphone output.

I think this might just do the trick.

huh that's a cool device. I might pick one up for myself lol.

It's doesn't really solve your microphone gain problem though? Although that's something you could probably adjust in the Windows side anyway.
