Wifi antenna extension cables (mobo wifi)

Has anyone use cables like these to extend the motherboard's wifi antenna to a new position?  My case is close to the corner of the house, basically the furthest away from the router it can get.  These would allow me to move the antenna across the room and into a (hopefully) strong signal area.  These or similar, I don't mind paying for a better made product.

That'll work, just check you get the right plug type.

There will be some cable/connector loss, but it's not really possible to know whether that loss is less than what you will gain from better placement without trying.

Thanks, just wanted some confirmation before  dug further.  Yep, was looking at the screw ends.

yup i've used some, and they're fine.

I've used them but weirdly they didn't extend my range. It's possibly just something about how the pipes, ducts, and wires are arranged in my walls, but I used these to move my wifi antennae and I still had my WHXM4's drop connection at the exact same spot. 
I use an onboard nic in some nice MSI AM4 mobo with a sharkfin antenna

Interesting, hoping I can get a clearer line of "sight".

 

I just now need to figure out if I have RP-SMA or just SMA connections.  Damn variances!   Gues I have to wait til I get home to order.

 

Unless someone knows what the Gigabyte B650 AORUS Pro AX uses?  maybe it's standard across motherboards?

Other antennas show RP-SMA for connecting to PC's, but not my exact board.  Though having yours list the Elite and Gaming AX would lead me to believe it is for me too.

SMA and RP-SMA are basically the same, except for which side has the center pin.

Right, had that figured.  Just need to know  what my hardware has without having to wait til 6pm tonight to see it physically.

 

I'm impatient, and I want to order it NOW!   For tomorrow delivery
