Really need advice and opinions on my budget PC build

Budget (including currency): $800 USD

Country: Vietnam

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly for gaming ( Apex, CS2, Fortnite, Warzone, . . . ). I also plan on doing some game development in Unity.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I have done some research and was able to come up with a build of my own, would love to hear some advice on it:

image.thumb.png.ffaf4f0ee2225be2f27264f2ae94f33e.png

I don't know why but the Asus Dual Radeon RX 6700 XT only sold for about 320$ in several stores here, am I getting scammed?

Also, is a wifi included motherboard necessary, I have heard that it's the way to go . Otherwise ,would a Asus PRIME B660M-A D4 be a good choice

And I can't make up my mind about whether to buy a RX 6600, a RX 6650 XT, a RTX 3060 or a RX 6700 XT. They all seems pretty good for their price. If I go for the RX 6600 then 32gb ram will be possible, but I've heard that 12gb VRAM is more preferable and futureproof, though I don't plan on playing AAA game, or at least wouldn't play at max setting, What should I go for? Any advice on this is appreciated since I'm new and don't have much experience.

Thanks!

Are you converting pricing?    So let's use actual Vietnam currency, how much?

The 6650XT is a great 1080p card still,  the one I went with due to being sub-$200 at the time.  Get more VRAM if can afford it, yes.

In my country about 8 000 000 VND , so around $320. Don't know why it's $620 there.

How much is the 6750XT then?  It's $330 here, so basically the same pricing.

For your build, I would reduce the motherboard price by at least $50.  No way to spend more on the board than the CPU.

Grab the 6700XT then.

The Ryzen 5600 and Intel 12400f trade blows, so either setup is viable for the price.  Your call on what you can buy cheaper or like more.

I would go with the Intel 12400f then, thanks. Still wondering tho, is it worth spending more for a wifi mother board, or just buy a separated wifi card for a cheaper motherboard.

Performance will be the same for your internet with either. I prefer it on the board vs a card, integration purposes.  Nothing in the way of the GPU fans, and less clutter in the PC.  Minor, but my preference.

If you can save money by getting a motherboard + card vs a wifi board, go for it.  I still argue the board itself CANNOT exceed the CPU price (unless your going after some feature), but the CPU is a performing part, the mobo is not.

With the MOBO, it is nice to have included wifi connectivity, but not necessary. You can buy a usb wifi dongle for really cheap, and I would recommend hard wiring your PC for internet anyways

here is a pretty good wifi adapter if you would want to use that

Just wondering if it is worth spending $65 for a case? I am thinking of buying a 25$ case. Does it make that much of a difference?

I would get the $65 case. Simply because of cooling and protecting components. Even if you have a really good CPU cooler, if the case cant move the air then your components could still throttle (overheat) I have a $60 case that came with fans (Monetech x3 mesh) that works pretty well, and I know some people spend $100+ on their case.

A case, at it's basic level, is nothing more than keeping your components together.  Some people use a an open test bench.

I would get a case with AT LEAST 1 intake fan and 1 exhaust fan.  The cheaper cases can have less quality of build, and maybe even cut your hands due to non-rolled edges.  But at the end of the day, make sure it can fit all your stuff and have decent airflow.  All ya need.

Thanks for your advice. I was able to come up with this final build here :

Since including a $60 would be too expensive, I think I will buy the 25$ one.

Thank You for your responses.
