i was thinking of getting a GTX 770 but the 2 diffrent one i chose have such i big price diffrence i dunno if it's worth paying the extra

 

MSI Twin frozer Gaming GTX 770 OC 2 GB (S$549) / (US$438)

 

MSI GTX 770 Lightning OC 2 GB(S$699) / (US$557)

 

the yellow lightning does match my build colour but a $100 diffrence = i haf to kiss up to my dad to let me spend my savings

 

please advice is it worth the extra?

I agree. Best to get the cheapest version of the highest-end card you can.

Don't waste money on the 770 Lightning. If you can afford to spend that much, the 780 is within your reach.

dude, for that money you can get a 290X which will perform MUCH better than a 770 or even a 780.
