7 grand, VR Machine with 8K

Hi everyone,

Just want some help with my build.

https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/dNqyrv

I don't have a case selected yet since none are in stock but I like the NZXT H9 Elite Mid-Tower Case White. I was thinking since I'm spending 7K Aud, should I get it water cooled?

And does anyone think I should tweak my list. I play heavy graphics VR game and thought I should treat myself with 8K vr gaming.

Because if you haven't there's a big room to save some $ even though you're not that concerned about it,

just for a reference, you're getting a 300$ 850W PSU, you can get a 850W PSU that's good quality for 100$

Also to get a decent gpu for high res vr because a 4070 just is not it at all

That and a 13900ks is super expensive and gets beaten by a 7800x3d which is way cheaper.

Just is a rather low end pc for the money with way too much money spent on shiny stuff that will cause op to not have a good gaming experience as the gpu is simply too low end

You are wasting money on 128G ram, 8TB NVME and on that motherboard. Every single piece of component you chose has one thing going for it, they are all blinged out.

There might be cheaper options for the AIO, but I don't know how good those are, all I know is the build costs less than OP's and has an RTX 4090 and only slightly downgrades SSD to good quality 4TB and 64GB RAM.

I know, the AIO is purely for aesthetics, because almost everything is white in OP's pcpartpicker

Oh wow. I didn't expect this many replies. I see some people talking about the ssd. and I probably won't change that. but I also see people talking about the GPU and CPU. What do you think I should change it too.

The VR headset I have is the Pimax 8K X. I also have a fully decked out flight sim that I can use with the VR so that's why I have so much Ram. Could someone tell me what a good PCIE capture card would be, but it needs to be in white.

Thank you

Gaming rig != investment. It will not earn you any money playing games with 100gigs of free ram while also getting blinded by your PSUs RGB fan.
