MOBO: AsRock Rack X570D4I-2T Mini-ITX Server Motherboard AM4 PGA 1331
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X - Ryzen 7 5000 Series Vermeer (Zen 3) 8-Core 3.8 GHz
Memory: Kingston ValueRAM 64GB 3200MHz DDR4 Non-ECC CL22 SODIMM (x2 sticks of 32GB)

CPU Fan: Noctua NH-U12S, Premium CPU Cooler with NF-F12 120mm Fan

NVME: Intel Optane SSD P1600X SSDPEK1A118GA01 M.2 2280 118GB PCIe 3.0
Case: JONSBO N3 Mini-ITX NAS PC Chassis, ITX Computer Case

PSU: Corsair SF Series, SF600, 600 Watt, Fully Modular Power Supply, 80+ Gold Certified

 

I just got the HDDs because they were a great sale.
The rest of the parts I am looking to buy new.

 

The main usage of this is to be a NAS. 
Pleas let know what do you think of the parts, specially the PSU.

Since you will be running ZFS, everyone is going to say you should run ECC memory. I chose instead to go with more capacity. For TrueNas, having as much ram as possible is beneficial for read caching.

Thank you for the feedback! I will update for ECC Memory. I will have 2 sticks (64GB, will update the post) that is the max the MOBO can handle. Would you recommend another one?

After looking at your motherboard choice, I would say you could just get a normal "gaming" itx board. It will save you money on ram. Unless you care about IOMMU grouping, there's no reason to use a special motherboard. Also, your power supply is a good choice.

gaming itx boards have limited pci lanes. you need to account for that.

also they general will share lanes with chip set and dont tell you at times.

Make sure that your board will boot headless, since you are using a cpu with no igpu. Personally I would have stuck with the asrock rack board. Ipmi is nice to have. As well as video out from the aspeed chip.
