Nvidia A6000 being noticably faster than an Overclocked 3080?

I've recently 3DMarked and game tested my 3080 against my fathers A6000, the A6000 was almost always substantially better, even though it should be slower, why is that?

 

Tested games/Benchmarks:

X4: Foundation

3DMark TimeSpy

3DMark TimeSpy Extreme

3DMark FireStrike

3DMark FireStrike Ultra

 

RTX 3080:

I could not find any results of  the 3080, but it was around 12000 to 14000 points

 

The A6000

I could not find any results of the A6000 and have no idea of the results, but i think it was about 20k or 24k

The 3080 was tested on an Ryzen 9 5950X with an X73 RGB AIO, The A6000 on an Ryzen 7 5800X with an Dark Rock Pro 4 cooler, both had the same Mainboard Xeon W-1290P with the same cooler and an PCIE-3 workstation mainboard.

Top end production cards typically use full spec chips, while consumer cards generally don't.

 

E.g. the RTX 4090's die is actually a slightly cut down version of the full spec AD102, which is used in the RTX 6000 Ada. Mind you the RTX 4090 is usually faster in gaming workloads though.

Nvidia stopped using the moniker Quadro some time ago. The card is called "RTX 6000 Ada": https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/rtx-6000-ada-generation.c3933. And apparently there's also a fully unlocked Titan Ada: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/titan-ada.c3985

I mean no wonder a pro card x4 more expensive perform as well than the retail gaming one, to be more precise

Why do you feel scammed? You get 90% of the performance for 1/4 the cost.
