Ive been finding quite a few free PC's on offerup and wanted to know if the website is legit? Anything to be careful of even though their free, so I have nothing to lose?

It is legit. People giving away or selling unused items.

It's like other online marketplaces (craigslist like things) 

I've never used them personally but afaik they have scam protections in place. 

 

If it's too good to be true it is. If someone is advertising a free computer just move on. They are not giving you a free gaming PC.
