I need help with finding a "gaming tv"

justaguy961

I have a relatively old TCL 4k tv which is basically the Walmart special. I'm looking for something that could do nice 4k or 1440p 120hz. Maybe HRD10 that stuff would be nice as well.  I don't know much about TVs and don't fully know if an LCD display would be okay or should i pay more for OLED. I don't want to get "scammed" and overpay for a mid TV.

OLED is nice if you can afford it. Certainly not the budget option. Do check up on their HDR capability though. My B9 didn't have the strongest HDR implementation and I don't bother with it at all. I think they did improve it in later models.

The LG C-series OLED TVs are bascially as good as it gets for a gaming TV. So currently the C3, in a few months the C4 will probably also come out, meaning you'll either get a better TV for the same price or a discount on the last-gen C3.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
