TPU's database says that the 4070 Super is 42% faster, the Ti is 52% and the Ti Super is 66%, which I believe is based on their average FPS figures, not including ray tracing or upscaling.

I like to look at YouTube videos to get an idea of the real world differences when playing your favourite games, for example:

Are you actually unhappy with the performance of your RTX 3070? Or are you just getting FOMO?

The 3070 is still a very capable card in 2024. The 8GB VRAM buffer can be an issue in some games, but apart from needing to keep settings in check for that, there really isn't any game it can't handle and it can deliver a high refresh rate experience in any competitive title.

Depends on performance expectations. I have both 3070 and 4070. After moving them around a bit, I have settled on the 3070 in my 1440p desktop where it is still plenty powerful enough for my personal uses. The 4070 goes on a 4k TV where I can still use as much performance as I can get.

Basically if you want more performance now, go for it. But if not, see what is around when you actually do feel a need to upgrade.

Right now neither. Just debating on the worth of the move to a 4000 series. The 3070 has been perfect for me over the last few years. Honestly it is more of an upgrade to give the 3070 to my brother, but if it is not worth the upgrade he can wait.

jokes aside depends on if you need or you can use the extra performance

4070s is basically just a slightly weaker 4070ti and when the 4070ti isnt vram limited matches or beats the 3090

4070tis is just a downgraded 4080 so expect it to perform like a downgraded 4080

so you are looking at going from a 3070 to a vramless 3090 (4070s) or a better 3090ti with cut down vram (4070tis)
