Making a budget pc with a i5 4590, 4x4gb ddr3 ram, 7200rpm hdd, an ssd, and a gtx 1060 6gb

 

Found this unit on amazon for not that much, is it reliable?

 

If not, what are the best psus under $50 that can provide enough power for the system

At this low of a price point for a budget system, just get the thermaltake smart series 80+ white units. You're mostly buying them for the warranty and they're cheap as dirt.

Do they test good or rank high on the tier list? Absolutely not. But they have a very low failure rate across a very high userbase so that doesn't really matter.

 

Or look for used high end.

No not at all. Also that pc will NOT play any modern games well due to the very low end cpu. The absolute minimum cpu for todays games is that platforms i7.

 

Whats the budget for this entire rig? A 1060 6gb is usually a good bit more expensive than the better rx480/580 so saving money there may get you something playable.

 

As for pc that one is TERRIBLE a msi a650 would be a cheap decent pick here.
