Get Watch 5 Pro now or wait till Watch 7 Pro in August?

Been wanting to upgrade my smartwatch game. As I have an S23+ a galaxy watch would be best suited and I've eyed the 5 Pro, mostly due to the titanium build and longest battery out of them all.

Debate however is if I should get it now or wait for the 7th generation to launch in August if patterns are true. That's 2 whole generations of progress so is the 4 month wait is worth it maybe?

I would wait and see if it's worth it, if not then you can just buy the 5 Pro for cheaper

There's a bit of FOMO that the sale price won't be as good but at the same time the genie's out of the box, people will now expect this to be a new sales price, another sort of worry is that Watch 7 Pro will cost the same if not more of the 5 Pro MSRP, that's nearly double what it is now and will I really get double the watch when the 7 Pro comes out? Tough call.

Maybe I should sit on this idea for a while at least. Let myself cool down. Maybe save up a bit as well as I've fallen on hard times so I need more in reserve that I usually do.

You pretty much never get a 100% increase in what you get. That kind of hope will just leave you constantly unhappy. If you're worried about that kind of equation you're probably better off getting the 5 Pro. I'd probably get it sooner than later, as they'll ramp down production when they start manufacturing the 7 Pro.
