Quest 3 with 1080ti and WiFi 6 make any sense.

I have a quest three and a pc running a 1080ti. Will I benefit from having WiFi 6. I have the modem / router that came from Comcast right now.

Are any of your devices wifi 6 compatible? 6E was where there were MAJOR improvements.

1080ti is heavily outdated for VR at this time. I would say the minimum is a 3060 at this point in time. Resolutions have increased drastically. 

 

WIFI6 should give you a very stable connection, although your card will be slow on the encoding side so finding the right balance between image quality/clarity is going to be a pain in the ass.

Quest3 is 2064x2208, which is close to 4k/5k performance.
1080ti was made for 1080p/60fps gaming.

Your going to be running at basically half your headset's resolution, just to keep up with encoding and fps.
