What can this PC run?

My PC is running a GTX660, PCIe2.0 X16, and 8 GB of RAM. I also don't know what CPU it is running, but I can probably check somehow. Does anyone know what I can run or if it bottlenecks?

you can run probably most games at like 720p low as settings, with some games and a lot of older ones able to run higher resolutions or quality.
your biggest limiting factor is two fold at the very limited VRAM size and the lack of any real dx12 support. Games which actually use dx12 features simply wont run, and a few games might arbitrarily run very poorly if the vram is not enough

use task manager to check the CPU

GTX 660 is 15% slower than GTX 1050 so the chances of running some games is possible, strong enough CPU will only add smoothness to the gameplay,

 

to check CPU you can try Task Manager, or System Info if you are Windows,

 

for specific games you could check out benchmarks on YouTube on GTX 660, not only you'll see which games this GPU can play, but how well

I had a GTX 660 as my main card in 2014-2016 paired with an i7-920 and later i7-950.

Anything from 2010-2015 should run fine at 1080p above 30fps.

The Kepler architecture didn't age that well so a lot of newer games don't run as well as on some other cards that are comparable to the GTX 660 in older games.

In some games cards like a GTX 960 can perform similarly to a GTX 780 (Ti) or even beat it, and of course there's games that won't even boot on the Kepler 600/700 series cards due to lacking proper DX12 support.

 

I have recently tried Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail on the GTX 660. Both of them run fine on it, 1080p around 60fps with low to mid settings. Though Genshin is a bit CPU intensive so even an i7-3770 @ 4.22-4.43GHz was hitting over 50% usage.

 

Though what you can play on your PC also depends a lot on what CPU you have.
