eithewr the card has no power or something softawre stops the card to receive the power

we can disclose some things

1 its not the gpu ( it worked on other devices fine!)

2 its not the powersupply ( new out the box and same result as with older powersdupply)

3 cpu seems working good wwith good temperture

what might be wrong is just 1 thing and its the motherboard either broken or just software not good!

Huh that's really a roadblock...

The board don't do much there as most of the power should come from the 12pin cable, but only 30W are coming instead of 200W..

Software regulating that is GPU side VBIOS which is working as GPU works well on another rig

Is your PSU (PC) plugged directly to the wall (no extension cord) and with enough amps (well at 230V you need 5A..not much) in the home circuit ?

I'm suspecting an electrical issue rather than software

An overloaded extension cord tend to melt and fry rather than not delivering, and overloading the circuit should just trigger home OCP, but I'm running out of ideas ...

Does any other card still works fine in your PC (using PCIe 8pin connectors) ?

With any PSU (old and new) ?

Only using genuine cables from the PSU manufacturers ?

If yes, only thing left to try now is to swap the board indeed

Don't need to change anything other than the board, can keep CPU and RAM, get another z490 or b460
