Random monitor issues

Hey guys, recently acquired a new 2K G-sync monitor to allign with a also new RTX 4070. I have noticed two issues so far with the monitor.

Monitor:  ASUS TUF Gaming 27" 2K HDR Monitor (VG27AQ1A) - https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-VG27AQ1A-Supports-Compatible-DisplayPort/dp/B08CZ8QJTX/ref=sr_1_1?sr=8-1

Issues:

1. Using random website to check resolution, those sites dont say I am at 2560x1440. The sites say something around "2560 x 1290" - see screenshot

Have tried updating the graphics drivers to most recent release, changing refresh rate to lower numbers, and using DP cable that came with montior (over old one)

2. Cannot exceed 144mhz refresh rate. Monitor has option for overclocking, 150-170, but whenever I overclock via the buttons on the monitor, it takes away 144 and or higher, and leaves max available of 120.

check that the cable you have supports 144hz at 1440p

in this screen res calculator it says the screen diagonal is 29.9 inches (which isn't true unless you got a different monitor)
