Hi There!

Im looking for some advice or knowledges that anyone might have. My computer is having wifi issues. Sometimes it's perfect and sometimes it's not! It connecting to the wifi then occasionally it says no internet! It's not my wifi at all though as all the devices in the house are fine with the wifi, my laptop and my brothers xbox ect that is a metre away from me is fine too. i've always struggled with wifi on my computer and i don't know why. For months my wifi ok my computer wasn't working then it was fine for months and now it's not working again. 2 days ago it was fine and the last two days i cant even play a game without my computer disconnecting from the wifi. i cannot think why it's doing it? anyone have any knowledge on this?

What chipset is it using? I've had that specific problem a number of times with older Realtek chipsets.

The chipset of your wifi card:

Is it an Intel, Realtek, or generic

Go into device manager and click on the Network Adapters section to see what the chipset is.

Network Adapters:

Realtek PCIe GbE Family controller.

i also have a TP link wireless PCI Express adapter plugged in and a usb adapter

so both PCIE wifi card AND usb wifi... why?  unless you have software teaming them together you will get inconsistent connection as only one of them can hold a default gateway for your system.

i guess it's easiest to take out the USB wifi dongle and see if it's any better

switched them out?.. only use 1..

wifi is a weird animal..

if you ever tried to get a signal for an FM radio.. it's about as scattered as that..  means one place it has connection another place not depending on what is between the access point and your pc.. anything, brick wall, concrete walls, glass like in mirrors, or front on shelves etc.. can reduce the signal and not realy make sense.

it's just so weird cause i have my laptop there too, my phone xbox ect and they haven't an issue... idk it just so random. sometime works sometimes not. i've moved my pc about the place too like closer to the router and downstairs and it doesn't really help

The t4e uses a Realtek chipset (8812), I'd recommend updating the drivers.
