one last question

Go to solution Solved by wng_kingsley7,

i have a lot of the parts for my pc and i dont know what size power supply is right i was looking at a corsair Corsair RM 750W 80+ Gold  but is that not enough

should i get a corsair Corsair hx 850W 80+ Gold  or is the rm Corsair RM 750W 80+ Gold  i do plan to over clock my system later on but my build is

Intel Core i7-4770K

MSI Z97-GAMING 7

Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866

Western Digital BLACK SERIES 1TB

Sapphire Radeon R9 290 4GB Tri-X

Cooler Master Storm Trooper

Microsoft Windows 8.1

If this system is soley for gaming i would step down from the processor to the core i5 4670K(or the newer haswell refresh cpu) or get a FX 8320.

Get a lower freq dual channel kit running at 1600hmz since there is not much significant gaming performance increase.

R9 290X is not a worthy buy in my opinion, I would get a 780/780 ti

you need a 500w psu

He may upgrade to a 2 way sli/crossfire x configuration.

*finger click* and that too. If you go with the nvidia solution you get shadowplay which lets you stream to twitch.tv (which was recenty acquired by Youtube)

yes but r9 290 so cheap

Ok, fine. But lemme ask you this; What performance increase will you see from a second tier graphics card (R9 290) which is slightly undercut to the highest tier flagship (R9 290X)?

I've watched this video by TTL from OC3D YT and he makes a lot of pointers which I think are very positive and negative. I'm gonna assume you're not going to be playing at higher resolutions per monitor higher then FHD.

Then again it's your hard earned money. Not mine do what you like.
