Idk, but hot damn. Looking at the whole 7000 series line, all of them dropped in price.

Just so people know a 7800x3d is FASTER in games than this and a 7900x non 3d basically normally performs the same in games as the 7900x3d since the x3d only has 6 3dvcache cores.

So if you are looking for a produxtivity/gaming cpu a 7900x is better

If you are looking for a gaming xpu the 7800x3d is better.

it's a great discount from it's silly $600 MSRP though. But it just doesn't make much sense
