Won't the Magnets on the Magnetic Cable Management Tools Mess With the Data Transfer?
Go to solution
Solved by manikyath,
just a magnet being present - not really.. it'd have to be really close to the data cables (read: pinched around it), the data cables would have to be terribly shielded, and if the magnet's not moving relative to the cable the effect of the magnet existing is essentially the same as just a big chunk of iron existing close by.
in short, putting a data cable somewhat close to a mains power cable is at least several orders of magnitude more interference than what "a stationary magnet" will do.
