Is 650 enough for SLI action?

Hi guys i want to upgrade a few components

 

My computer atm:

i7-4770k stock clock

msi z87-43

palit gtx 770 oc at 1254 mhz

phobya toch 6 fan controller

wlan pci card 300 mbit/s

1 lg bluray drive

1 tb hard drive
300 gb 10000rpm hard drive

corsair vs650

 

 

i want to upgrade to a second gtx 770 and have to upgrade my motherboard too

 

i came along with the msi z97-55 sli and a second gtx770

 

 

can i still use my 650w psu when i upgrade to sli or do i have to buy a new one?

 

and should i buy a 860w or pay 30€ more for the 1000w psu when i want to upgrade to costum watercooling in the future?

 

i hope you guys can help me with my problem and sorry for bad english but thanks anyway (:

You will probably never need 1000 unless you want like triple titans or something

 

I think 650 is cutting it fine, I would recommend the 860, should be fine

2 770's would use less than 500W. That still leaves some room for the CPU and other peripherals. It's doable, though it's probably just cutting it fine.

I have an RM850, and jonny guru gave it a really good score. I love the silent plan profile and mine has been nothing but amazing since i bought it

 

But if you can afford it the ax is better but that said the RM still has a 5 year warranty so corsair expect it to last you

Well...he bashed it pretty hard for the low quality components, but other than that it was a very good score.

It received a 9.2. It's good, but not great.

 

The RM Series isn't that impressive. The AX Series is definitely of higher quality. I don't want to hate on the RM Series too much -there's a reason they comes with a 5 year warranty. They're good enough. Is it worth 30? If you're willing to pay more for a better unit then sure. It's up to you.
