You can turn it off in iCue or use OpenRGB to set it to black

You see that cable coming out of the top, right of the Corsair logo? That's what you are missing.
If it's not in the the box, you can contact Corsair and get them to send a replacement, or just buy something like this (IIRC you are in DE so you may need to hunt around your sites for a "mini usb to usb header" cable):

That's how the software talks to the hardware. Without it you're basically stuck. With it you can use iCUE or openRGB no issue
