Where can I find a good computer desk?

NuclearFusion
Go to solution Solved by AMICLG,

At IKEA you can order just the tabletop it self and legs separate and it's way cheaper if you don't mind putting it a few screws.

I've checked amazon, ebay, walmart, target, and IKEA. I can't find a good desk that isn't $250 dollars. I have like $150 to spend and I just want a simple desk, no hutch or anything. I could  go with either a L shaped desk or just a rectangle. I want something sturdy but not too hefty. I prefer it look good, so real wood, or a good look-alike. It will also need to fit my corsair 350d. I hope I'm not asking for too much in a desk.

100x this. There's tons of different options you can do too. This will be what I do when I move into my new apartment.

There are many, many companies that make keyboard drawers.

I've gotta ask though, do you actually find them useful? I find that decent keyboards often don't fit on them, especially with a wrist rest, and I like my keyboard and mouse to be on the same level.

I couldn't find one on IKEA myself but there's probably someone who sells them.

I have a k65, and I'm not a huge mousepad guy, so yeah must of the time my stuff fits, and it allows for my tabletop space for food!

I'd recommend the Gallant series from Ikea, solid table top, and very sturdy leg, I chose the 'A' type legs and honestly speaking, I was really, I mean REALLY, surprised at how solid the table was.....is. It's long enough that I can place my Corsair 650D on it with more than enough space for my keyboard, monitor and speakers...

If you don't have a PC build yet, you can get one of these or the crossdesk whenever they come out:
