Is it worth getting Escape from Tarkov

I was thinking about getting Tarkov as i really enjoyed playing looter shooters but i just found it to be to expensive when i was just a uni student. now i have some money to spare, but was wondering if its worth it with the cheating scandals and so on...

If you think its still worth it, which pack should i get, just the basic one for 52 € or is it worth to get the ahead start with one of the more expensive packs?

It is a hard game to get into. It also has many flaws and recent flight of players shows that they arent doing enough to fix it. I can think of many other games I would rather play for 52euros than Tarkov.

Yea i think i should pass on it, maybe at some point they have a sale and i get to try it for cheaper... or they just fix some problems and its worth the 50 euros

The main thing the more expensive versions get you is larger inventory space in your stash and a bigger butt (2x3 slots instead of 2x2). It is possible to unlock that by playing the game but it will take a while and will reset each wipe. AFAIK if you buy the cheap one you can pay to upgrade to the more expensive ones later.

You're not going to get a 'head start' a month in to wipe. You're going to be at a disadvantage to other players who have better guns and armour (and who have more experience in the game).

Cheating still seems to be a big thing in Tarkov. The cheat everyone is talking about this wipe is vacuuming which teleports the best loot on the map in to the cheaters inventory.
