Windows Activation failing, Home To Pro error

byucoug121

I bought a windows 11 pro and typed it in to my windows 11 home pc and it says it activated, but it gave this error when upgrading to Pro.

When I looked up the error code it seems to be a more generic error code than for just activating windows.

You shouldn't have activated the not final Windows.

Contact your seller and tell him your key doesn't work, he's used to it (don't mention the W10 activation if you can)

You don't have an old Win7+ key lying around ? A computer with a Microsoft sticker ?

Or buy a new key

There is a known issue from upgrading from Home to Pro.
