Sound not coming through my Amp/Speakers when connected to PC

I'll be damned. Fixed it myself. Just in case anyone stumbles upon the same problem, the solution:

Device manager>Display adapters>right click>update driver

Who would have thunk it was the display adapter screwing the sound over? The joys of HDMI.

Hi All,

I'm having an issue getting sound output from my PC via my Amp. Set up as follows:

PC: Alienware Alpha R2

Amp: Denon x540bt

Speakers: Tannoy HTS 101

PC connected to Amp via HDMI. Amp connected to TV via HMDI (ARC).

I've got several devices (PS4/STB etc) connected via the same method and no problems with audio output. The video output is fine.

It appears that some kind of signal is getting from the PC (see attached screenshot).

Any help on resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

TIA.

Set Nvidia to default device.

I can't - it's greyed out. No option to make default.
