What motherboard for AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D to take?

Hey,

 

I made a post earlier this day, but I did some digging and would really need some input from you guys.

For now I'm looking at:

• MSI Tomahawk B650;

• Gigabyte AORUS Elite AX.

But from what I see in reddit, quite some people have problems with the boards. Maybe they just got a bad luck - defected boards or are they actually bad?

In case they are bad, what would you recommend to go with? These boards are in my price range, wouldn't want to spend a shit ton on motherboard and these ones seem to be quite alright with the specifications considering the price. So ~200 I'm looking at.

I'd like an ATX board probably, as I have DeepCool CH510 Mesh Digital as my case and a small board in it probably would look weird.

I've used the Aorus Elite before, it is a fine board. The only issue I've seen some people complain about is the memory VRM having coil whine, though at least the one I used didn't have it. 

 

That said, it's also worth looking at the B650 LiveMixer, mostly because it's $150 with a pretty similar feature set to those two boards.
