PC Rebooting Using A1111/Comfy UI

helpimblind

Hey,

Been trying to mess around with Stable Diffusion but am running into problems. Wondering if the PSU is responsible. It always happens towards the end when I guess it's trying to decode/encode the final image. I've tried Windows/Linux A1111/ComfyUI and a bunch of arguments and it still happens so I sorta ruled out any software issues but I'm still new at this so not really sure. Right now using:

  • R5 5600
  • RX 6650XT
  • 32GB DDR4 3200MHz
  • Corsair CX750M (the old ugly green one from like ~7 years ago.)

I don't crash at all outside of trying to run A1111/ComfyUI. Games like CP2077 and BG3 are fine. Used to be able to run it fine about a year ago with a GTX1060. Could the total TDP of the CPU+GPU be overloading the PSU? Seeing as it's over 7 years old and there's a bunch of criticism online for how bad the old green corsair 750W PSU models are makes me just want to upgrade either way. Any suggestions and should I go to 850W? Been looking at the RM750x SHIFT/XPG Core Reactor. Recorded it on my phone:
